November 2026: New Insights, Fresh Possibilities

As we enter the final full month of autumn, I encourage you to pause and enjoy what this season still has to offer. Take in the crisp air, the rustle of fallen leaves, and those familiar scents that make this time of year feel so comforting: pumpkin spice, apple pie, pine needles, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. There is something grounding about these simple pleasures, especially when so much around us is changing.

November is a month of transition, carrying us from Scorpio’s deep waters toward Sagittarius’ warm fire. After weeks of reflection and emotional self-examination, we may begin to recognize what we are ready to release and where we would like to go next. What have we discovered about ourselves? What feels worth carrying forward, and what has become too heavy to keep holding?

As November unfolds, Sagittarius brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a welcome sense of adventure. After spending time looking inward, we may now be ready to look up and out, eager to learn something new, visit somewhere different, or enjoy a conversation that opens our minds. There is more room for laughter and a little more spontaneity as we reconnect with what excites us. The world begins to feel bigger again, reminding us how much there is still to discover and look forward to.

But before we get to there, let’s look at what is happening during the first half of the month.

November 4th
Mercury Meets the Sun in Scorpio

A New Perspective

On November 4th, the Scorpio Sun meets Mercury in Retrograde, in what is called an inferior conjunction. This is when Mercury passes between Earth and the Sun. In astrology, this begins a new Mercury cycle, often described as a New Moon for the mind.

This meeting can symbolize a moment of truth, a breakthrough, or a flash of realization that dismantles an old belief. Something we’ve believed or accepted may suddenly look different, planting a “seed idea” that we can explore and develop in the weeks ahead. We may begin to understand why we’ve been reacting a certain way, what we haven’t felt comfortable saying, or something we’ve found difficult to admit to ourselves.

As familiar ways of thinking begin to loosen, we may begin to even see new possibilities for what we can create together as a collective.

November 5th
Grand Air Trine

Fresh Ideas and Meaningful Connections

Then on November 5th, we are blessed with a lovely Grand Air Trine connecting the Moon in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius. A Grand Trine forms when three planets create a triangle of harmonious connections, allowing their energies to flow and work together with greater ease.

Coming just one day after Mercury’s inferior conjunction with the Sun, this Grand Air Trine carries a fitting emphasis on ideas and understanding. The “seed idea” planted during a moment of realization may now find expression through a conversation, a helpful connection, or a fresh approach to a familiar situation. Air encourages us to share what we’re discovering and consider how another person’s perspective might help that idea grow. It encourages fresh thinking, conversation, and the exchange of ideas.

This alignment may help us recognize how our talents and resources can support changes in our everyday work and the direction we want to take professionally. An unexpected suggestion, a helpful connection, or a willingness to try a different approach could open up possibilities we hadn’t considered.

With the Moon in Libra, cooperation plays an especially meaningful role. Working together and listening to another perspective may help us find solutions that benefit everyone involved. Although this lunar alignment is brief, it offers a lovely opportunity to put a fresh idea into practice.

November 9th
New Moon in Scorpio

Setting Intentions for Honest Communication

November 9th brings the New Moon in Scorpio. The insights sparked by Mercury’s inferior conjunction and explored through the Grand Air Trine may now help us set an intention around the conversations we want to have and the ideas we want to develop.

Scorpio invites depth and honesty. We may feel ready to ask a more meaningful question, reconsider an old familiar story, or speak about something we’ve struggled to put into words. This can also be a time to bring greater awareness to our everyday exchanges with the people we encounter close to our home environment.

With Mercury still retrograde, give yourself permission to listen, reflect, and revise. An intention for this New Moon might be to communicate with greater honesty and care, while remaining open to what you have yet to learn.

November 13th
Mercury and Venus Turn Direct

Clarity in Mind and Heart

On Friday the 13th, both Mercury and Venus station direct, Mercury in Scorpio and Venus in Libra. Although Friday the 13th has long carried an ominous reputation, this one offers an encouraging turning point for matters of the mind and heart.

Mercury’s time in Scorpio has invited us to examine our thoughts, question assumptions, and look more closely at what is being said, or left unsaid. As it turns direct, we can begin putting all of our reflections into words and revisiting conversations with greater understanding.

Venus, now in her home sign of Libra, brings attention to relationships, reciprocity, and what we value. After weeks of reassessment, we may have a clearer sense of where balance needs to be restored and what helps us feel appreciated and connected.

Neither planet gathers momentum overnight. Give them about a week to begin moving forward more steadily, allowing time for plans and feelings to settle before putting what we’ve learned into practice.

November 16th
Mars and Jupiter in Leo

Courage, Creativity, and Possibility

What does it mean when Mars and Jupiter team up together in Leo? On November 16th, these two planets bring a lively combination of courage, enthusiasm, and creative energy. Mars motivates us to act, while Jupiter encourages us to think bigger and believe in new possibilities. In expressive, warmhearted Leo, this can inspire us to share our talents, take the lead, or give a creative project the attention it deserves.

After weeks of reflection, we may now feel ready to participate in life and put our ideas into motion. There is a playful quality to this pairing, so allow yourself to have fun while pursuing something meaningful. We might feel ready to finally put ourselves out there, celebrate an accomplishment, or encourage someone else to shine.

November 22nd
Sagittarius Season Begins

Rediscovering Curiosity and Adventure

And just like that, on November 22nd, the Sun enters Sagittarius, giving the energy of Mars and Jupiter somewhere to play. Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so all that enthusiasm has somewhere to go. We may feel ready for a change of scenery, something new to learn, or a little adventure to shake up our usual routine. Maybe there’s a place you’ve been wanting to visit or a class that has caught your attention. Or perhaps a conversation with someone whose life is different from your own opens your eyes to something you hadn’t considered. Sagittarius loves to explore, and sometimes following our curiosity is enough to get us started.

As we move into the holiday season, this warmth can bring more generosity and enjoyment to our gatherings. Sharing a meal, catching up with friends, and making time to enjoy each other’s company can remind us how much there is to appreciate in our lives. Feel that spark of fire and have fun!

November 24th
Full Moon in Gemini

Expressing What We've Discovered

November 24th brings the Full Moon in Gemini, shining a light on how we are communicating, interacting with others, and perceiving our reality. We may begin to see where our thoughts are leading us and how they influence the way we understand what is happening in our lives.

And this Moon is not alone. It is standing side by side with Uranus in the same sign, while both form a trine, or harmonious connection, with Pluto in Aquarius. Gemini is curious and quick-thinking, and Uranus turns everything up a notch. You may notice that emotions shift unexpectedly, or suddenly feel the need for more space and freedom to do things your own way.

With so much mental energy in the mix, we may also feel restless or easily distracted. Give yourself somewhere to put that energy, whether through writing, conversation, or something playful that gets you out of your usual routine. You might surprise yourself with what you come up with!

This combination can also stir our creativity and encourage us to express a side of ourselves that we don’t always let others see. Maybe you’ve been wanting to share something you’ve written, try a creative activity, or simply make more room for the things you enjoy.

Then Pluto adds power and depth to all of this. What begins as a sudden idea or a desire to try something different may help us recognize how much we’ve changed. We may be ready to let go of old expectations about who we should be and feel freer to express who we are.

November 25th
Mars Enters Virgo

Turning Inspiration Into Practical Action

The next day, Mars enters Virgo and will remain there through most of February. Expect your energy and drive to take on a very practical focus. After the creative enthusiasm of Mars in Leo, we may feel ready to work out the details and figure out what it will take to bring an idea to life.

This can be useful energy for getting organized, catching up on unfinished tasks, and making adjustments to our daily routines. Something that once felt overwhelming may seem more manageable when we break it down into smaller steps. You may also feel ready to sort through shared finances, make a plan for paying down debt, or sit down with someone to work out responsibilities you’ve been putting off discussing.

Just watch the tendency to become overly critical of yourself or others. Mars in Virgo can spot every little thing that needs fixing, but we don’t have to tackle it all at once. Put your energy where it will be helpful, and give yourself credit for the progress you make along the way.

November 29th – 30th
Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn in Aries

Fresh Perspectives and Meaningful Commitments

November closes with two supportive connections. On the 29th, Uranus in Gemini forms an exact trine with Pluto in Aquarius, continuing the theme of fresh perspectives and meaningful change that has woven its way through the month. This is part of a longer cycle, so we may still be discovering where these changes are taking us.

Then, on the 30th, the Sagittarius Sun connects harmoniously with Saturn in Aries, helping us put some practical effort behind what has inspired us. Perhaps an idea is worth making a plan for, or something we’ve been exploring is ready for a little more commitment. We don’t have to do everything at once, but we can decide what deserves our time and attention as we head into December.

Closing Reflections

Gratitude, Growth, and Looking Ahead

November gives us plenty to think about, but I hope you’ll also make time to enjoy the season and the people who make your life richer. As Thanksgiving approaches, I’m reminded of how much I have to be grateful for, from the little things to the big moments, and especially the people who have been there for me this year. Even the smallest gestures have meant more than they probably realize.

Enjoy the conversations, share the laughter, and leave a little room for something unexpected. Wishing you a warm and happy Thanksgiving!

I'll continue sharing astrological insights, practical tips, and ways to work with the current energy on Instagram and YouTube throughout the month, and I'd love for you to join me there as we continue exploring the wisdom of the stars together. If you feel called to explore your own journey more deeply, I'd be honored to support you through a private astrology session or one of my private or group Art of Manifesting classes.
