Aligning With May's Gemini New Moon: Oracle Spread
From Earth to Fire: How Each Zodiac Sign Can Work With April's Energy
April is a month of dynamic shifts, as we move from the passionate, fiery, and impulsive energy of Aries into the grounded, sensual stability of Taurus. This transition encourages us to channel the fearless and bold Aries energy into something stable and long-lasting. This shift calls for patience, persistence, and focusing on long-term goals.
April brings significant astrological transitions, beginning with Mercury stationing direct on April 7th, followed by Venus stationing direct on April 13th, coinciding with a Full Moon in Libra. This Full Moon serves as a balancing force, softening Aries' intensity with Libra’s harmony and introspection. The Sun enters Taurus on April 19th, marking the start of Taurus season, and the month concludes with a grounding New Moon in Taurus, setting the stage for stability and renewal.
This month is about transforming Aries’ spark of inspiration into tangible reality. It’s a time to take bold ideas and shape them into something lasting. Unlike Aries, Taurus isn’t about initiation or bursts of inspiration. It’s about commitment, persistence, and building something of true value. Over the next month, embrace this steady energy to turn new concepts into solid foundations. If Aries ignites the vision, Taurus nurtures its growth. This grounding influence empowers you to put in the work and bring your dreams to life.
Let’s explore how the Libra Full Moon can guide us through April, emphasizing relationships, balance, beauty, creativity, and gaining clarity in our lives.
GUIDANCE FOR EVERY SIGN
ARIES: This Moon is moving through your house of partnerships and relationships, and it will be a critical time in evaluating your relationships. During this month, you will need to be able to strike a balance between your own needs and those of the others in your life. To make the most of this time period, practice your skills of negotiation and compromise, and invest emotional energy into seeing your partner’s side of things. The whole point of relationships, whether romantic or otherwise, is about learning lessons through another person’s eyes.
TAURUS: Your focus during this period is all about your daily routines, including service to self and others, and your overall health. Release any problems you have had in breaking habits that are inhibiting the daily rhythm of your life. This is your chance to hit the reset button when it comes to taking care of yourself. The Moon can illuminate the goals we have been working towards, whether it involves the workplace, a health and fitness goal, or a daily lifestyle habit. Strike a balance between your daily responsibilities and the inner space within yourself that allows you to simply be.
GEMINI: The emphasis is going to be on your creativity and personal self-expression. Allow the light to shine on what you truly yearn for. If you have been working on a creative project these last few months, this is the time you may reap the rewards of your efforts. Reflect on the things that bring joy to your life and how you can use that joy as the inspiration to create something of value and long-lasting.
CANCER: The focus during this time period is around your home and family, with a deeper awareness of your roots and private emotions. It’s a period to reflect on what truly makes you feel loved, safe, and secure. With this in mind, nurture your closest relationships, strengthening meaningful connections. By doing so, you lay the foundation for a more stable, stronger, and fulfilling future.
LEO: Now is a great time to take advantage of the Full Moon’s clarity in your thoughts and conversations. This energy can lead to important insights and help improve your interactions, making your relationships more meaningful. Use this time to explore new ways of expressing yourself and connecting with others. You can use this cycle to develop or enhance a skill or new interest, or to build on something you’ve been wanting to take to the next level.
VIRGO: Take this time to balance your personal financial responsibilities with those shared with others. If someone else has been controlling the purse strings or has financial power of you, now is the time to get on more equal footing and move into a better financial cycle. Explore and strategize ways to earn more money, prepare a budget, set up realistic financial goals and arrange your life in terms of what you most value.
LIBRA: This is a powerful time when you learn to stand on your own and be proud of the person you are. The focus is on self-awareness and personal growth. This is a time when you can see yourself and your life path with greater clarity, leading to insights about what you really want in life and the direction that is right for you. Use this time to reflect on your strengths and highlight the areas where you can grow.
SCORPIO: The emphasis is on nurturing your inner most being and spiritual self. Use this month’s energy to identify any behavior that has been sabotaging your growth in the world. Focus on retreat and recuperation, honoring the fact that you need some solitude and time for contemplation. Combine some of this 12th house spiritual work with the daily routines in your life. Allow your intuition to show you where you may be sabotaging yourself regarding your daily habits. Any clarity and awareness that occurs will enhance your ability to make changes in your life for the better.
SAGITTARIUS: Allow the light to shine on your dreams and aspirations. Reflect on how your network of friends or group associations can help you achieve your goals and how you can use this time to release any self-doubt that has held you back in the past. Use this time to decide how to turn your visions into a solid future.
CAPRICORN: You will be focusing your emotional energy on your career and the foundations of your life. The light is shining on your life path and direction. Use the energy of this month to seek answers to questions about your commitment to your goals, if you are happy in your current role, and where you want to go next. This is an opportunity to realign your priorities, recognize what you have accomplished, and decide how to take your next steps.
AQUARIUS: This is a time to search for your truth. Reflect on your philosophies and belief systems to assess if they are in-line with the knowledge and wisdom you want to impart on the world. Take time to question everything that shapes your personal beliefs, whether positively or negatively. You’re being encouraged to see things from a new perspective. Reflect on your beliefs and consider whether they truly align with who you are at your core.
PISCES: You are being called to go deep and reflect on all topics considered taboo: sexual intimacy, psychological issues, other people’s money or resources. You will need to release or transform anything that has been holding you back from the life you want. Whatever the topic that rings true in this area of life for you, will certainly bring about a transformation or a rebirth on a deep level. The goal is to gather up your emotional courage and turn your deepest fears into constructive accomplishments.
March 2025 Astrological Transits
March 1 Venus Retrograde
Venus will be retrograde in the sign of Aries until April 12th. This will be a time to re-evaluate and reflect on the relationships in our lives. Assess how open or blocked your heart is and think about your connection with others. It is also a time to re-examine your finances, your values, and if you are prioritizing your self-worth. Whatever is happening, don’t rush to make any decisions until Venus stations direct.
March 2 Mercury Conjunct Neptune in Pisces
Your thoughts and communication style are more compassionate in nature, as well as more intuitive and imaginative. Don’t be afraid to listen to your gut feelings as a way to guide you. Because this connection can make you feel a bit dreamier, make sure to find ways to ground yourself so you can use this alignment as a tool for both creativity and self-expression.
March 2 Sun in Pisces Square Jupiter in Gemini
This transit can make you feel invincible. Don’t let your confidence and optimism take over common sense. Be realistic with your visions and what you want to create and don’t bite off more than you can chew.
March 3 Mercury enters Aries
Your mind will be sharp and fast-moving, favoring quick decisions over deep contemplation. While this can be an advantage in time-sensitive situations, it can also make communication more direct and forthright, bordering on impatience. Confidence will be high, leaving no room for second-guessing. Make the most of this energy before Mercury retrogrades from April 1 to April 24.
March 6 1st Quarter Moon in Gemini
This phase brings increasing awareness of a new direction approaching in your life causing emotional tension and nervous energy with it. Take your time as you reflect on and balance your subconscious desires with your personal values and security needs. You may want to think about how to align your spiritual pursuits or charitable services with your financial sector.
March 8 Sun in Pisces Trine Mars in Cancer
During this 2 week transit, your intuition and compassion are heightened, bringing a strong desire for emotional security and a stable relationship and home life. Mars brings out your “Mama Bear” qualities encouraging you to be protective and willing to fight for those you love, particularly your siblings and other close family members.
March 11 Mercury Conjunct Venus in Aries
With Venus retrograde, this can be an intense period of re-examining, and perhaps overthinking, the relationships in your life, leading to some difficulties in how you are communicating your feelings. During this transit, make time for introspection, but avoid obsessive thinking when it comes to important relationship considerations and the lessons to be learned in this area of life.
March 12 Sun Conjunct Saturn in Pisces
Use this time to focus on your personal responsibilities and identify the areas of your life that need more attention to build a strong foundation for the future. It's also a great opportunity to acknowledge your achievements while addressing areas for growth and broadening your knowledge of who you are at a soul level.
March 14 Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
With this eclipse in Virgo, the focus is on self-improvement; evaluating how you navigate your personal life, daily routines, and habits. It’s a time to release outdated patterns related to work, health, and wellness while reassessing how you give of yourself in service to others, ensuring your efforts align with your true purpose. Allow yourself to acknowledge where old behaviors and patterns are dragging you down and allow your soul to continue in this lifetime where it is heading.
March 15 Mercury Retrograde in Aries
Mercury is retrograde until April 7th, so be aware that communication break-downs may occur while both of Mercury and Venus are slowing down. Impulsive reactions and saying things we don’t mean could easily happen. Also, listening may not be your strongest gift during this time. Practice mindfulness, listen to other points of view, and always think before acting.
March 17 Moon in Scorpio Square Pluto in Aquarius
This challenging transit will feel like an emotional tug-or-war. You may feel a struggle between emotional vulnerability and a need for emotional distance and independence. Moving through this time will be easier if you can accept your feelings without judgment and process your emotional state by committing to a daily journaling practice.
March 19 Sun Conjunct Neptune in Pisces
This transit can deeply enhance your spirituality, inspiration, and creativity, opening you up to new possibilities. However, it may also make it harder to stay focused on daily routines and work schedules. To stay grounded, establish a structured plan and set clear boundaries to avoid feeling scattered. If you’ve been wanting to embrace your visionary and creative side and share it with others, now is the perfect time to start.
March 20 Sun Enters Aries – Spring Equinox
This is the official arrival of spring and the beginning of a new astrological year. It is about welcoming in a new cycle and to think about what you want to accomplish or fine-tune during the coming year. We can open our hearts to what each day will bring and create hope and excitement that new beginnings could possibly be around every corner.
March 22 Sun Conjunct Venus Retrograde in Aries
Because Venus is still retrograde during this conjunction, this is a time for reflecting on what you have learned or are learning about yourself and relationships. It is a perfect opportunity to deepen the relationships you already have. Embrace what you love about yourself and let go of the stories that hold you back and diminish your power.

When these two planets align while Mercury is retrograde, we are able to receive deeper wisdom and useour intuition for our highest good, allowing higher vibrational messages to come through.During this alignment, increase your meditation and journaling practice to open yourself to inner wisdom and higher knowledge.
March 26 Moon in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus
Commitment and focus will be difficult during this transit. You may find your moods are more volatile and irritable. Tap into your creativity to find ways to step outside your comfort zone and open up to more unconventional methods of balancing your perspectives.

This is all about revisiting old wounds, old relationship issues, past karma, and old triggers.Do not be afraid to confront any difficult emotions or dynamics in your personal life. March 29 New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries
This is the final in an Aries-Libra set of six eclipses that began on April 20, 2023. This eclipseis occurring closer to the North Node of the Moon, so there is more opportunity for growth and development and to follow what we feel is our mission in this life. The focus here is on our personal growth. It is a potent time to finally address deep emotional wounds and embrace who you really are on a fundamental level.
March 30 Neptune enters Aries
Time to wake up! Let’s emerge from this state of dreamy illusion and reconnect with the deeper purpose of why we are here on this planet. This transit encourages us to direct our attention toward the critical issues that are shaping the very fabric of our society.
March 2025 Astrology: Discover the Powerful Transits & Their Impact on You
In a recent conversation with my friend and psychic intuitive, Crystal Heinemann, I found myself asking, “Why am I seeing more and more clients facing intense, life-altering events and seeking guidance and support now more than ever?”
Lately, I’ve noticed a rise in fear, anxiety, and confusion. While global and national events have undoubtedly contributed to this emotional turbulence, I couldn’t help but turn to the heavens for answers. Could the current planetary shifts be amplifying this collective unease?
March 2025 Astrological Transits: A Deep Dive into Planetary Shifts
March 2025 is a powerful month astrologically, bringing major planetary transits that influence our emotions, relationships, and sense of purpose. This month, we experience key astrological events such as retrogrades, the Spring Equinox, and the start of Eclipse Season—all of which play a crucial role in shaping our experiences.
The Pluto Shift: A Turning Point
I first started noticing these energetic shifts when Pluto transitioned into Aquarius on November 19, 2024, coinciding with significant political and societal changes. Pluto's move into Aquarius signals deep transformation, urging us to rethink structures that have governed our collective lives. This shift has set the stage for the intensified emotions many are feeling now.
Adding to this intensity, Mars Retrograde has been opposing Pluto since November 2024, a tension that will continue until April 2025. This combination forces us to confront our deepest fears and insecurities, bringing unresolved emotions to the surface. Where this transit falls in your birth chart determines how it impacts your life personally.
Jupiter Square Saturn: The Frustration of Slow Growth
Between December 24, 2024, and January 31, 2025, Jupiter retrograde formed a tense square with Saturn, creating a push-pull dynamic between growth and restriction. This aspect made us feel the need for progress in various aspects of life—spirituality, relationships, or career—but simultaneously blocked us from moving forward. This challenging energy resurfaces in June 2025, extending its influence.
Venus and Mercury Retrogrades: Reflection and Reassessment
As we enter March, both Venus and Mercury turn retrograde, slowing down our ability to move forward smoothly.
Venus Retrograde (March 1 – April 12, 2025, in Aries): A time of deep reflection on love, relationships, finances, and self-worth. This retrograde challenges us to assess whether our relationships bring us the joy and fulfillment we seek. Are we prioritizing our self-worth? Are we blocking ourselves from giving and receiving love? The best course of action is patience; avoid making major decisions about relationships or finances until Venus stations direct.
Mercury Retrograde (March 15 – April 7, 2025, in Aries): Expect communication breakdowns, misunderstandings, and impulsive reactions. Mercury in Aries makes us quick to speak but slow to listen. Be mindful of how you communicate and practice patience when misunderstandings arise. The best approach is to double-check information, think before speaking, and avoid signing contracts or making major commitments.
Spring Equinox: A Fresh Start Amidst Retrogrades
The Spring Equinox on March 20, 2025, marks the start of Aries season and symbolizes renewal and fresh beginnings. However, with both Venus and Mercury retrograde, it’s wise to hold off on launching new projects. Instead, use this time to revisit unfinished work, refine past ideas, and plan for the future.
Eclipse Season Begins: Major Emotional Shifts
March also brings the start of Eclipse Season, a period of intensified energy and transformation.
Total Lunar Eclipse on March 14, 2025 (Blood Moon in Virgo/Pisces): This eclipse highlights themes of self-improvement, daily routines, and emotional healing. With the eclipse in Virgo, we are called to release outdated patterns related to work, health, and service. Lunar eclipses bring subconscious emotions to the surface, pushing us to let go of what no longer serves us.
Partial Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2025, in Aries: This marks the final eclipse in the Aries-Libra cycle that began in April 2023. This New Moon Solar Eclipse is closely aligned with Chiron, the wounded healer, offering an opportunity for deep healing and self-acceptance. This transit encourages us to embrace our personal power and step into a new chapter with clarity and confidence.
Embracing the Energies of March 2025
As we navigate March, the cosmic energy urges us to reflect, release, and realign. With Venus and Mercury retrograde, patience is key, especially in relationships and communication. The Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo invites us to cleanse emotional baggage and step into our true potential. Meanwhile, the Aries Solar Eclipse pushes us toward personal growth and healing, helping us align with our soul’s purpose.
While March may feel overwhelming, it is also a time of profound transformation. By tuning into these cosmic shifts with mindfulness and intention, we can embrace change with grace and emerge stronger, wiser, and more aligned with our true path.

FEBRUARY 2025 ASTROLOGY FORECAST: GENTLE SHIFTS, ROMANCE & INSPIRED ACTION
February’s astrological landscape brings a relaxed, harmonious energy, influenced by Venus and Pisces themes. With Mars and Jupiter moving direct, the Sun transitioning into Pisces, and a serene New Moon closing out the month, it’s a time for reflection, creativity, and gentle forward momentum.
The month begins with a Venus/Neptune conjunction in Pisces on February 1st. Venus in Pisces is very dreamy and romantic. Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, makes this connection even more special in terms of creativity and imagination. During this short window of time, take advantage of and keep your eyes open for new romantic encounters or make even deeper connections within your personal relationships, trust your inspiration and creative urges by channeling your inner visions into your work, and look for ways to connect to all things beautiful.
On February 3rd, Venus transitions from dreamy Pisces into bold Aries, bringing a spark of passion, excitement, and honesty. During this transit, expect bold energy - no hesitation, no apologies - just a focus on going after what you want in the moment. Use this energy wisely by exploring different ways of being in relationships and discovering how to better express your needs and desires.
Jupiter goes Direct in Gemini on February 4th. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, optimism, and growth. Wherever it is in your chart, is where good fortune and fulfilment lie. While Jupiter was retrograde, you were being encouraged to connect with your spiritual goals and reflect on your life at a deeper level. The focus was on your personal growth. As Jupiter now moves back into direct motion, look for increased opportunities and positive development in many different areas of learning, including creativity in all types of communicative activities.
On February 5th, we enter the 1st Quarter Moon phase in Taurus, a time often marked by emotional tension or a restless energy. This phase occurs when the Sun and Moon form a challenging square aspect, sparking an inner need to resolve conflicting thoughts and feelings. You might start to question yourself or second-guess ideas that emerged during the New Moon at the end of January. Are you on the right path? Is this really a good idea?
While doubts may surface, don’t lose sight of your vision. Taurus energy offers the grounding stability needed to push through challenges. Use this phase to set clear goals and lay a solid foundation for long-term success. Stay focused, steady, and determined; progress will come with persistence.
The Full Moon in Leo on February 12th offers a moment of clarity, helping you see exactly where to shine your light. Whatever you've been envisioning since last month's New Moon is now ready to come to fruition. Ask yourself how you can be of service to others in both a selfless way and in a productive and creative way that is integral to your life path.
As Valentine’s Day approaches on the 14th, Mercury’s transition into Pisces inspires imaginative, compassionate, and intuitive thinking. This is an ideal time to trust your instincts, as your thoughts will be guided by emotion and empathy.
On the same day, Venus, the Goddess of Love, forms a harmonious trine with Juno, the asteroid that is known as the Goddess of Marriage and Partnerships. In mythology, Juno symbolizes the heart of intimate relationships, reflecting commitment and balance. This beautiful alignment highlights the value of mutual respect and harmony in love. Take advantage of this energy to deepen emotional bonds, foster trust, and strengthen your connection with your partner. It’s a perfect moment to embrace romance and nurture the foundation of a lasting, authentic relationship.
On February 18th, the energy of the month changes as the Sun enters Pisces. As we leave behind the more detached emotions and air driven thoughts and ideas of Aquarius, Pisces guides us through the next month with compassion, creativity and imagination.
Pisces season brings a spiritual and mystical energy, as well as a time of heightened intuition. Not only does Pisces season mark the end of winter, but it is also the last sign of the entire zodiac year, bringing together all the wisdom of all the signs that came before. It prepares us for the spring equinox and a more energetic lifestyle as we anticipate the excitement of new beginnings. Take advantage of this season and create quiet time for yourself. Seek knowledge from within, focusing on your inner self. Carve out time during the day for meditation, daydreaming, and journaling your feelings.
On February 20th, the Moon will be in her 4th Quarter phase in Sagittarius. This is the halfway point between the Full Moon and the New Moon. During this phase, we have already realized what is important. We now want to reevaluate and reorganize our ideas and beliefs. You will want to take care of things you have been putting off and work on wrapping things up. It is a time of cleaning house. Release any negativity or whatever is holding you back from accomplishing your goals.
On February 23rd, Mars finally stations direct in Cancer. Since the start of the Mars retrograde in December, most likely, many of us have felt stuck in a state of limbo. Despite our best efforts to move forward, obstacles seemed to block progress, leaving us feeling unmotivated, trapped in repetitive thoughts, or struggling to express emotions. For many, this period has been marked by frustration and emotional confusion.
With Mars now moving direct, it’s time to let go of lingering negativity and reclaim momentum. Projects and plans that felt stalled can gain traction once more. Since Mars is direct in Cancer, emotions will fuel your actions. This is an opportunity to channel your feelings constructively. Let your emotions inspire courage, strengthen your resolve, and guide you toward creating security and stability in both your personal and professional life.
Mercury and Saturn will be conjunct in Pisces on February 25th. Saturn brings a serious and responsible tone to your thought processes and communication style. It provides a natural ability to really focus and have self-discipline in areas that require structure and precision. This is a great time for studying, learning something new, or tackling complex topics. With the patience and fortitude it provides, you’ll find it easier to put in the hours to help you stay on track toward your goals.
We close the month with a New Moon in Pisces on February 27th. This lunar phase is a powerful time to set intentions, meditate on your goals, and envision what you’d like to achieve over the next four weeks. It marks a fresh start and the perfect opportunity to embrace new beginnings and plant the seeds for future growth.
Since this New Moon is in a water sign, use your intuition and instinct in setting new goals and priorities. You’ll find that ideas will sometimes just come out of nowhere. Don’t ignore these intuitive sparks. Be open to what your inner being is trying to tell you. I see this particular New Moon as focusing on your life’s purpose and how you can be of service to others. How can you use the creativity and compassion of Pisces in your life to best help others?
February offers a harmonious blend of reflection, passion, and renewed momentum. With Pisces guiding us through themes of creativity, intuition, and compassion, this is a month to nurture your inner world while moving forward with clarity and emotional purpose. Take advantage of the supportive energies to strengthen connections, set fresh intentions, and trust the quiet wisdom that emerges from within. Let this peaceful, imaginative month inspire your next steps toward growth and transformation.
2025: A YEAR OF CHANGE, INNOVATION, AND NEW BEGINNINGS
It feels like I was just writing a New Year article for 2024, and here I am again, welcoming another new year and a fresh journey ahead. Looking back, I can’t help but reflect on what a wild ride the past year has been. Yet, I also see moments of positivity and hope - reminders that many of us are still holding onto optimism for a better future. It’s essential to let the Universe feel our energy at its highest vibration.
As we step into this new year, I encourage each of us to think about how we can shine our light to create a kinder, more compassionate, and humanitarian world. Let’s look forward with anticipation to the roles we can play, not only in uplifting ourselves, but also in helping others rise with us.
Looking ahead to the energy of 2025, there are three major planets changing sign this year which marks the beginning of a brand new cycle for those planets: Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Pluto is also a big part of this having already made the transition into Aquarius back in November of 2024. All of these planets moved from Earth and Water signs into Air and Fire signs, so we should expect to see some major upheaval, change, and new beginnings collectively.
I want to take some time explaining how these changes might affect us overall and what we may expect as we are moving through the year.
Saturn will move into Aries on May 24, 2025, not totally leaving this sign until April 12, 2028. Saturn stays in a sign for 2 ½ - 3 years. He is the strict authoritarian figure, the ruler of structure, boundaries, responsibility, and discipline. This is the planet that teaches us our hardest lessons and forces us to learn things through experience, sometimes the hard way. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is a very independent, courageous, and assertive energy. Aries is known as the warrior. He has great leadership abilities and initiates action.
When Saturn enters this sign, it marks the beginning of an entirely new 30-year cycle around the zodiac. We can anticipate significant changes and the start of a new chapter, particularly on a societal level, where shifts in leadership and power struggles may emerge both at home and abroad.
The last time Saturn was in Aries, from 1967 to 1969, society experienced massive upheaval and transformation, steering it in an entirely new direction. This period witnessed the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Moon landing, Woodstock, the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy, and the Manson murders—just to name a few pivotal events.
This is a powerful planetary alignment, and the most constructive way to harness its energy is through inspiration rather than control. By doing so, we allow it to manifest at its highest potential, paving the way for growth, courage, and transformation.
In our personal lives, wherever it comes up for us individually, we can use this energy to start new chapters in our lives in a responsible way. Allow confidence and courage to guide the way while remaining aware of the need for hard-work and perseverance.
Neptune will also move into Aries in March 2025 and will remain in this sign until 2039, staying far longer than Saturn. Neptune, the planet of spirituality, idealism, creativity, imagination, and inspiration, but he also delights in illusion and creating confusion. With Neptune in Aries, we can hope that people will wake up and emerge from a state of dreamy illusion and reconnect with the deeper purpose of why we are here on this planet. This transit encourages us to direct our attention toward the critical issues that are shaping the very fabric of our society.
Uranus will begin its transit into Gemini on July 7, 2025, briefly moving back into Taurus on November 7, 2025, before finally re-entering Gemini in April 2026, where it will remain until May 2033. Uranus is the zodiac’s rebel, a master of unexpected change and, at times, revolution. His motto could well be, “rules are made to be broken.” This planet embodies innovation, freedom, and independence, delivering groundbreaking ideas, cutting-edge inventions, and advancements in technology. Consider the rise of AI, social media, and electric vehicles; these are all Uranian influences.
Uranus thrives in Gemini, where it is exalted. Gemini rules the mind, intellect, and communication, so we can anticipate an era of expanded creative freedom and significant leaps forward in science and technology that have the potential to enhance and transform our lives.
On a personal level, tracking Uranus’ movement through your chart can provide insights into where you’re being called to learn, innovate, and embrace new ideas. This energy encourages you to express your unique voice, refine your communication skills, and open yourself to fresh perspectives. It’s also an ideal time to channel this energy into positive activism, engaging with humanitarian efforts and contributing to social justice causes that inspire meaningful change.
This month, the astrological signs of Capricorn and Aquarius will begin to guide us, inspiring us to lead our best lives in the year ahead. Capricorn sets the tone for the beginning of January by encouraging us to keep a clear head and to begin to set goals for the weeks and months that are stretching out in front of us. Use Capricorn’s strengths of structure, persistence, and dedication to chart your course. The beauty of Capricorn is his ability to teach us how to have trust in our own abilities and to always land on our feet.
Aquarius takes over mid-month on January 19th bringing with it an original, unique, and inventive energy. This sign helps us to believe that anything is possible. You may be able to come up with more innovative ideas and feel inclined to use your power to help social causes in some way. The energy of Aquarius helps you to see the big picture. What I love most about this sign’s energy is that it gives us the ability to think beyond the mundane. It allows us to honor diversity and differences and encourages us to use our personal freedom to choose our own path.
I have chosen just a few of the transits to highlight for the month of January that have resonated most with me. On January 1, 2025, Mars in Leo will be in opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. This is an intense way to begin the new year. This dynamic reflects the tension between your personal desires and your potential to contribute positively to society. It’s a delicate dance between the individual ambitions represented by Mars, and the communal, transformative influence of Pluto. You may find yourself navigating the challenge of harmonizing these opposing forces.
Mars in Leo can bring a tremendous drive for power and recognition, while Pluto in Aquarius seeks higher truths and wants to invoke powerful transformations. Don’t be surprised if you feel triggered during this time and experience anxiety and inner conflict. This transit will be around for a while due to retrogrades. It doesn’t totally move on until mid-April, so be aware of your struggles and emotions and make sure to set healthy boundaries with yourself and others. Try to use this energy for constructive, not destructive purposes. It is very helpful to focus on keeping yourself grounded through breath meditation, physical exercise, and time outdoors. Since Mars is still in retrograde motion until February 23rd, keep all of your goals and ideas in the planning phase, and wait until Mars stations direct before implementing them.
Venus enters Pisces on January 2nd, which will help to cool the heat a bit from the Mars/Pluto opposition. Venus is exalted in this sign, meaning that she is operating from her highest and most positive expression. Pisces' dreamy and sensitive ways nurture Venus' need for beauty and sensuality. Make the most of this transit by letting go of anything that blocks love, compassion, or your connection to the divine within yourself and others. At times, emotions may feel overwhelming, but try to stay grounded in reality while trusting your intuition to guide you. Practicing gratitude, meditation, and nurturing your spiritual connection can also be especially helpful during this period.
January 6th is the 1st Quarter Moon in Aries. This is the moment to clarify the intentions you put out during the New Moon in December. You will become very aware of the new direction you envisioned. On January 12th, the Sun will trine Uranus in Taurus. Expect to feel a sense of excitement and anticipation of something on the horizon. Your soul is working toward something creative, and it is a great time to dive into something uniquely your own. Embrace your individuality and think outside the box.
The Full Moon rises in Cancer on January 13th, a sign where the Moon feels most at home and can naturally express its true essence. This energy brings themes of sensitivity, nurturing, and emotional care. You might experience some emotional highs and lows, along with a strong desire to retreat to the comfort of your home or a familiar, secure space. A Cancer Full Moon encourages you to nurture yourself and pay attention to your emotional needs as they come into focus. It’s a powerful time for self-discovery, for having healthy conversations with loved ones, and bringing moments of enlightenment that can guide you toward greater emotional growth and understanding.
On January 19th, the Sun moves into Aquarius, officially kicking off Aquarius season. It’s time to lighten up and shift away from Capricorn’s seriousness and it’s focus on responsibility. Embrace a more innovative, forward-thinking energy and allow your creativity to flow. Stay open to new ideas and let your humanitarian side shine.
On January 21st, the Sun is conjunct Pluto in Aquarius. This is a very powerful combination that can be an extremely transformative time in which you plumb your own depths, uncovering your deepest thoughts and feelings. Use this time to reveal long buried truths in order to bring positive growth to the most private parts of your life. Be gentle with yourself and have a safe space to process any memories or feelings that come up. Meditation and journaling are particularly helpful during this transit.
On January 25th, Venus in Pisces forms a trine with Mars in Cancer, creating a beautifully harmonious and creative energy between these two planets. Venus represents our desires and needs, while Mars helps us take action to fulfill them, and together, they work in perfect balance. This is an ideal time to express yourself creatively and share your message in a gentle, non-pushy way. On a personal level, this aspect can also bring a deep sense of intimacy and passion, making it a particularly romantic and sexy time with your partner.
Welcome the Lunar New Year! On January 29th, the New Moon will be in the sign of Aquarius, encouraging innovative and inspiring new ideas and visions, as well as looking ahead with positivity and hope. During these next couple of weeks, reach out to your social and professional friends and recognize the value of collaboration and networking. You never know what new adventures can come as a result of sharing your visions for the future.
As Uranus stations direct on January 30th, take a moment to reflect on everything that’s unfolded since it went retrograde on September 1, 2024. What have you learned about the area of your life ruled by Taurus? With Uranus moving forward, it’s time to embrace progress, take bigger risks, and move full steam ahead. While Uranus remains in Taurus, remember that change and innovation are essential for growth. A little shake-up can be a good thing, especially when it benefits everyone.

DECEMBER 2024 COSMIC GUIDANCE AND ASTROLOGY FORECAST
As we enter the final month of 2024, a little guidance can help us cross the finish line. With the winter solstice and holiday season approaching, it’s crucial to make the most of the energy around us to wrap up the year on a high note. This year has been emotionally intense, and compassionate insights are essential for closing it on a peaceful note and setting the stage for a positive new beginning. The cosmos is active with significant transits and aspects, and I’m here to explore how these energies can support our highest good as we move forward.
The astrological signs of Sagittarius and Capricorn share the month. Sagittarius is a fire sign that ushers in the holiday party season with lots of enthusiastic energy, spontaneity, and optimism. Later in the month, earthy Capricorn steps in, offering a grounded and realistic perspective to kick off the new year with stamina and clear, long-term goals for what we hope to achieve. It is a time when we can begin to turn our dreams and faith-driven ideals into a realistic and goal-oriented future.
What better way to start the month than with a New Moon in Sagittarius on December 1st. This New Moon provides us with optimism and a sense of adventure. New Moons are always about new beginnings, and the seed that is germinating is all about welcoming a fresh start and expanding life’s possibilities through learning, traveling, and opening our minds to new beliefs and philosophies. Allow yourself to make positive changes by reflecting on the past year, your emotions and thoughts during this time, and then letting those things define a positive new direction in your life.
Later in the day the Moon moves into a conjunction with Mercury retrograde. Allow this to help you slow down, reflect, and possibly create some emotional healing. It can provide you with the opportunity to have some important self-discoveries, such as understanding and adjusting your basic emotional patterns.
On December 2nd, the Moon in Capricorn is in a conjunction with Pallas Athene. Pallas is an asteroid discovered in 1802 and is one of the four major asteroids, Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta, each discovered within a few years of each other. These asteroids were named for female goddesses and their discovery has been aligned with the rise of the women's movement ever since.
Pallas, the goddess of wisdom and self-defense, is often known as the warrior goddess. While I don’t typically focus on asteroid influences, her perfect 0-degree conjunction with the Moon is worth noting. This alignment greatly enhances your ability to tap into intuition, emotions, and intellect. Trust your gut as various life issues come up; this connection strengthens your capacity to blend intuition with rational problem-solving when making decisions. It’s an especially supportive energy for resolving conflicts, particularly within interpersonal relationships.
From December 4th to December 14th, the Sun in Sagittarius will form a square with Saturn in Pisces. With Saturn in Pisces, there's a strong focus on tuning into your inner voice and trusting your intuition, aligning well with Pallas’ influence. However, Saturn is also the planet of discipline, boundaries, and responsibilities, so this transit may bring a sense of duty that feels restrictive. You might experience blocks to self-expression or feel like your true self isn’t finding an outlet. To find balance, ask yourself some key questions: Who are you becoming? What steps do you need to take to move forward on your life path? And what parts of yourself might need to be released to make room for growth?
On December 6th, Mars turns retrograde in Leo until February 23, 2025. During Mars retrograde your energy may feel more internalized and introspective rather than outwardly active. You might notice a slowdown in your plans and goals, which can lead to feelings of frustration. Instead of pushing against this slower pace, use this time to prioritize inner reflection and focus on your emotional and psychological well-being. Align with your own rhythm, practice mindfulness before reacting to triggers, and cultivate compassion for yourself and others. By the end of this retrograde, you’ll likely gain greater clarity about your path forward.
There are four major transits occurring on December 7th; Venus enters Aquarius, Venus in Aquarius conjuncts Pluto, Neptune stations direct, and the Sun is in opposition to Jupiter in Gemini.
Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and harmony, guides our relationships and connects us with the feminine essence. As she moves into Aquarius, expect to feel a boost in social energy, with a particular interest in broader societal issues. This transit encourages you to experiment with new approaches to love and connection, making it a great time to explore how you relate to others. You may feel drawn to more unconventional relationships and a stronger sense of independence. Embrace this shift as a chance to learn about your outlook on love, commitment, and the freedom to express your unique self.
At the same time, Venus and Pluto form a powerful exact conjunction in Aquarius. Pluto adds a powerful energy to matters involving relationships and how we form close personal attachments. Pluto does not play small. When he teams up with Venus it creates a magnetic, all-consuming energy. Be mindful of potential power struggles in partnerships and watch for any controlling or manipulative tendencies, whether from yourself or others. This transit may have you balancing the desire for deep, intimate connections with a fear of losing yourself within them.
Neptune having been retrograde since July 2nd of this year, finally stations direct on December 7th. During retrograde, we hopefully had more clarity about our lives, our relationships, and inner selves. In fact, it may have provided a little too much realism. As it moves back into a direct motion, allow yourself some periods of escape and appreciate your ability to dream and fantasize. Try to operate from a place of faith that all is unfolding just as it should be. Neptune’s intent is to dissolve boundaries and limitations so that you are able to receive inspiration and lean into your creativity.
Lastly, we have the Sun in Sagittarius opposing Jupiter in Gemini. As opposing signs on the astrological wheel, Sagittarius and Gemini both emphasize the mind and communication, but in different ways. Gemini, the logical and analytical sign, relies on reason and practical thinking, while Sagittarius is more about big-picture insights, intuition, and higher understanding. Both are curious, restless, and eager to connect with others and hear their stories. This opposition may lead you to feel scattered or pulled in many directions. The key here is finding a balance between your expansive dreams and the practical steps needed to bring them to life.
December 8th brings the First Quarter Moon in Pisces. This is the half-way mark between the New Moon and the Full Moon. Anything that you began to think about and develop at the New Moon phase on December 1st, is getting closer to actualizing when the Full Moon phase occurs. However, at this phase, now is the time you may begin to have doubts or start to question yourself or your ideas. Watch out for stumbling blocks but persist in your goal visions. At this time, start to have conversations with others about your intentions and get the ball rolling. Getting feedback can turn your doubts around.
On December 12th, the Goddess of Love opposes the God of War as Venus and Mars face off in opposition. Though opposite in nature, these two share a unique, complementary relationship. They actually rely on each other and work together sharing a special relationship. Venus represents what you desire, while Mars shows how you go after it. With Venus in Aquarius (an Air sign) and Mars in Leo (a Fire sign), this transit may bring a push-pull dynamic to your relationships. You might find yourself torn between a desire for closeness and a need for freedom, trying to balance your own needs with those of your partner. The key is to find middle ground—acknowledge and respect each other's differences, and make sure to communicate openly about your thoughts, feelings, and needs.
On December 15th, we experience a Full Moon in Gemini, just as Mercury, Gemini's ruling planet, stations direct after its retrograde phase that began on November 25th. This Full Moon shines a light on themes of learning and communication, encouraging us to examine our belief systems and philosophies with fresh eyes. What are you truly seeking? This lunar event invites us to remain open to new perspectives and to reconsider how we view the world. In a conjunction with Jupiter, the Full Moon enhances feelings of love and generosity, opening our hearts and minds. You may find yourself drawn to explore deeper spiritual and philosophical questions, inviting profound insights and growth.
With Mercury going direct just as the holiday season hits its peak, travel plans should flow more smoothly, gifts will hopefully arrive on time, and connecting with loved ones will feel easier. Expect lively conversations and a joyful atmosphere as we dive into the festivities!
On December 18th, the Sun is in a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces which can create some confusion and a lack of mental focus. This aspect does increase your imagination and creativity, yet you may not see the reality of things as clearly as you’d like. It will be really important to practice ways to ground yourself during this time and practice self-care. Journaling and spending time in nature are great ways to do this.
The next day, December 19th, Venus in Aquarius makes a harmonious trine aspect with Jupiter in Gemini. This is a lovely connection between the two most kind, generous, loving, and altruistic planets in the Universe. You will feel more relaxed, making it an opportune time for holiday socializing and expanding your personal life. It’s also a great time for romance and dating as your heart center opens and you welcome connection with others.
On December 21st, the Sun enters Capricorn, marking the winter solstice. This day brings the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year, symbolizing the start of the winter season. Yet, it also represents a celebration life’s rebirth, as from here on, the days will gradually grow longer and the Sun will shine brighter. The winter solstice reminds us of renewal, instilling faith and hope that spring is just around the corner. It’s a perfect moment to reflect on our life’s direction and consider the changes we’d like to make as we approach the new year—a natural time to set intentions and envision new possibilities.
Capricorn season, lasting from December 21 to January 19, is governed by Capricorn’s ruling planet, Saturn, which encourages us to plan with discipline and foresight. This period is ideal for setting long-term goals and learning from the past year’s experiences to help shape new strategies. Consider the areas where you want to grow or make changes in the coming year. Begin by writing down your intentions and creating a to-do list, outlining the steps needed to manifest your goals.
On December 22nd, the Moon enters her last quarter phase in Libra, marking the halfway point between the Full Moon and the New Moon. This phase represents the gradual shift from the Full Moon's bright illumination—when everything feels ready for manifestation—toward the dimming light of the New Moon. As the Moon’s light decreases, it invites a time for reflection, release, and preparing for new intentions in the upcoming lunar cycle.
The last quarter Moon very often creates a “crisis of consciousness” or more simply, a sense of confusion or a disconnect between your actions and your core values. During this phase, try to be aware of your own truth and moral principles. Your sense of right and wrong. Reflect back on the month to evaluate what is worth keeping and what no longer serves you. It is a time to make space for new and fresh ideas to enter your life as the New Moon phase rapidly approaches.
On December 24th, Jupiter in Gemini is in a challenging square to Saturn in Pisces. There are creative and inner tensions at play during this time. We have the optimism and abundance of Jupiter squaring up with the structure and limitations of Saturn. A positive way to work through this is by combining discipline and hard work with faith and imagination. You might feel highly driven to accomplish your goals right now, but could encounter some obstacles along the way. Even though certain limitations may arise, remain open to finding ways to work around them.
As Jupiter in Gemini opposes Mercury in Sagittarius on December 26th, expect your optimism and visions to begin to take off. Just make sure you ground your grand plans with a healthy dose of realism. While you are extremely confident and excited to share your ideas, it is equally important to deliver your message with humility and openness to other opinions and viewpoints. You may be looking more at the big picture and over-looking the fine details so keep things in perspective.
You will want to keep these things in mind as Mercury squares Saturn on December 27th. This aspect wants to keep you stuck or fixated on a certain way of thinking. It can create a rigid mind-set. You will absolutely benefit from other people’s viewpoints, as well as allowing yourself to be open and flexible to new ideas and perceptions. Journaling, writing down notes, and creating structure in your thought processes, is extremely helpful in getting through this transit.
On December 28th, Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. You may experience some challenges within your relationships and perhaps changing circumstances in where you find your value and self-worth during this transit. There will definitely be some tension as you try to navigate between the desire for more freedom, a curiosity and exploration of unconventional connections, and what makes you feel desired and valued. Uranus in Taurus truly supports your need to “march to the tune of a different drummer” or to experiment with different life choices.
The month ends with a New Moon in Capricorn on December 30th. In keeping with the energy of Capricorn season, these next couple of weeks are a great time to really think about what you want to achieve going into 2025. Be explicit with your goals and intentions. This is all about preparing for the future and focusing on ways to develop self-discipline and understand commitments and responsibilities. Free yourself from whatever limiting beliefs you have about yourself and focus on what truly matters.
As the final days of December unfold, take this time to reflect on the year’s journey and honor the growth and lessons it brought. With each planetary alignment, the energies around us encourage introspection, renewal, and a sense of purpose. Embrace these opportunities to set meaningful intentions for the year ahead, making space for fresh perspectives and positive change. Prepare to welcome 2025 with an open heart and a clear vision for the future. Happy Holidays!
